Infertility in men is caused due to problems in producing sperm like
producing too few sperm or none at all or even due to sluggish sperm
movement. The causes of infertility start at birth or even during the
later years of his life. The quality as well as the quantity of the
sperm can be affected by a man’s health and way of living. The
factors that increase the risk of infertility in men are as follows
– alcohol, drugs, environmental toxins, including pesticides and
lead, smoking cigarettes, health problems, medicines, radiation
treatment and chemotherapy for cancer, age. Some factors:
Infertility in man is not caused only due to genital viruses like the
oral herpes and genital herpes. The best ways to detect infertility in
men are simple clinical tests and diagnostics. The tests that would be
simple like the semen analysis. Main factors:
The infertility types can sometimes be prevented while sometimes some
of the infertility causes are different and so cannot be prevented at
all. One of the major causes of infertility in men is smoking. Smoking
leads to lower sperm counts and sometimes even slow sperm movements.
This eventually leads to miscarriage in women too. Consumption of
alcohol may also lead to failure who are trying to conceive through,
natural treatments or clinical treatments. Alcohol during the procedure
of conceiving or for the couple who is trying to have a baby is not at
all recommended even in smaller quantities. Alcohol is harmful to
sperm. It reduces the sperm counts and also can interfere with the
sexual performance. It may even disrupt hormonal balances.
